Saints Foundation

At CWM Aggregates Ltd, we are committed to delivering high-quality materials and services, whilst giving back to the communities where we work. Our recent partnership with Southampton Football Club and the Saints Foundation is a perfect example of how collaboration can make a lasting impact.

This case study looks at how we supported a local project in Southampton, working together to improve a much-used community space.

The Challenge

The Saints Foundation identified a local community space that was being held back by significant stone waste and green waste build-up.

The area needed to be cleared to create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for residents. However, tackling the waste required both resources and manpower that stretched beyond what the community group had available.

Our Contribution

That’s where we played our part. To support the project, we provided:

  • All of the necessary waste bags for collection and removal.
  • Two members of our labour team, who joined the on-site effort.
  • Clearance and removal services, ensuring both stone waste and green waste were properly disposed of.

By handling the waste management side of the project, we made it possible for the Saints Foundation and volunteers to focus their efforts on enhancing and improving the space itself.

The Outcome

Thanks to this collaboration, the site was transformed into a more usable and welcoming area for the community. The clearance made a tangible difference for residents and highlighted the power of businesses and charities working side by side.

Southampton FC and the Saints Foundation brought energy, organisation, and strong community ties, while CWM Aggregates contributed the practical waste solutions and labour required to get the job done.

Looking Ahead

This project is a proud moment for everyone at CWM Aggregates Ltd. It demonstrates how our expertise in waste management and aggregates can directly support community initiatives that matter.

We’d like to thank the Saints Foundation, Southampton FC, and all the volunteers who took part in making this initiative such a success. Together, we’ve not only cleared a space — we’ve helped create a stronger, more connected community.

At CWM Aggregates Ltd, we look forward to continuing our partnerships with local organisations to keep building cleaner, safer, and more sustainable communities across the region. If you would like to partner with us, then contact our team!
